Two Live-Action Nodame Cantabile Movies Announced

The current issue of Kodansha’s Kiss magazine has announced that two live action Nodame Cantabile motion pictures are in development for release in 2010. The first film will tentatively open theatrically in January 2010. The second film will follow in late spring 2010. The adaptations of Tomoko Ninomiya’s romantic drama manga series will continue the story from the two Nodame Cantabile Shinshun Special in Europe television specials aired earlier this year. Actors Juri Ueno and Hiroshi Tamaki will reprise their roles as Nodame and Chiaki.
