Tor Partners With Seven Seas

Tor Books, the largest publisher of science fiction in the world, has formed a new manga imprint with Seven Seas Entertainment, LLC. The partnership will jointly acquire and co-publish some of Japan’s best-selling and most exciting manga series, light novels, and other fiction beginning with the March 2008 American debut of Ballad of a Shinigami, Pita-Ten, and Strawberry Panic English translated light novels, and the August 2008 American publication of Takashi Okazaki’s Afro Samurai, the original manga inspiration for the internationally successful anime franchise.
