Top 10 Anime Related Events of 2001

Animaxis has published their list of the 10 most significant anime related events to occur in Japan last year, a list which may be interesting to some Western fans.

Furthermore, revealing the near perpetual oddly popular and not popular state of anime in Japan, Animaxis reports that Japan broadcast an amazing 67 different anime series within the past 12 months; however, less than 10 of these new shows managed to draw more than a 10% audience rating.
