TOKYOPOP Partners With HarperCollins

TOKYOPOP has announced the formation of a development partnership with major American publishing company HarperCollins. The most significant result of the agreement is that TOKYOPOP will develop original American “manga” comics based on concepts from HarperCollins authors including Meg Cabot. TOKYOPOP and HarperCollins expect to eventually publish as many as 24 original “manga” based on HarperCollins franchises annually.
