TOKYOPOP Opens Fifth Rising Stars of Manga Competition

TOKYOPOP has officially opened its fifth annual Rising Stars of Manga Competition to seek out talented “American manga” artists.

This year’s competition will introduce a “People’s Choice Award.” 20 finalists will be narrowed down to one runner-up winner determined by popular vote who’s comic entry will be published alongside the works of 7 winners selected by TOKYOPOP’s panel of judges.
