TOKYOPOP Announces Japanese Produced Princess Ai Animation

TOKYOPOP has announced a new marketing blitz surrounding its Princess Ai comic series, including a daily newspaper comic strip, a five volume novel series, an illustrated book of poetry, a soundtrack, and a feature film due in 2009.

American creator “D.J. Milky” and Japanese anime studio Satelight (Macross Zero, Arjuna, Heat Guy J) are currently in post-production on a Princess Ai pilot animation. The animation was written and directed by “D.J. Milky” with animation direction handled by Eiichi Sato (Full Metal Manic, Fortune Quest L).
