Tenchi Muyo Premieres

Tenchi Muyo has premiered on Cartoon Network. The first episode shown was the first OAV episode, which introduces the protagonist Tenchi, and the ever-volatile demon Ryoko. Edits include a scene were Tenchi runs into Ryoko’s chest being cut, digital alterations of clothing to make them less revealing, and language being toned down. Like Gundam Wing, there was no opening and the original opening animation and song were used as the ending. In this case, the opening/ending ran long, so it was cut short in favor of a Pioneer logo.
