Tatsunoko Announces Devander Anniversary Anime

Tatsunoko has announced that its first anime production to commemorate its 50th anniversary will be the Ippatsu Hyaku-Chu! Devander OVA. Hiroshi Sasagawa (Yatterman, Time Bokan) and mecha designer Kunio Okawara (Gundam, Votoms) are creating this “gag mecha battle” anime with a script from 2008 Yatterman TV series writer Junki Takegami. The 30-minute OVA will be released with a special mook (magazine-book) on October 19, Tatsunoko’s 50th birthday.
