Synch-Point Announces FLCL

Synch-Point has released its first official press release announcing the tentative late January debut of FLCL on American DVD. The first DVD disc, titled “Fooly Cooly” (rather than the more phonetically accurate Japanese “Furi Kuri”) will include the first 2 of 6 bilingual OAV episodes, character design production art, a reversible, and perhaps most promising of all, translation notes, suggesting that the American version of FLCL will retain all of its original Japanese anime “in-jokes” and cultural references.
