Sunrise Announces Buddy Complex TV Anime

Anime studio Sunrise has announced its development of an original “traditional robot action” anime television series titled “Buddy Complex” (not to be confused with Kishimoto Miyuki & Kuroiwa Yoshihiro’s robot action manga Buddy Spirits, which received an anime promotional video last September). Battle Spirits & Kiddy Girl-and episode director Yasuhiro Tanabe will helm the show about two high school boys who must pilot robots to defend the earth. The first episode will get an advance premiere broadcast on the Tokyo MX network on the 29th before beginning its weekly broadcast in January.
