Steamboy Release Moved Up

According to Nikkan Sports, the Japanese theatrical release of Katsuhiro Otomo’s Steamboy has been advanced from the originally scheduled October 8th release to this July. Toho moved up the release date of the film to replace the originally scheduled summer release of Hayao Miyazaki’s Howl’s Moving Castle, which has been delayed due to production delays. Production on Steamboy is scheduled to wrap in March.
