Spirited Away Wins First Major American Award

The National Board of Review of Motion Pictures, a jury made up of teachers, writers, actors and movie production workers, has selected Spirited Away as Best Animated Feature of 2002. However, the film was not selected as one of the top five best foreign films of the year. Awards will be officially presented at a ceremony in New York held on January 14th.
