Spirited Away Dub is a Go

Nausicaa.net has confirmed that Disney will employ Don Ernst (one of the producers of “Fantasia 2000”) to produce and long time Miyazaki fan and “Beauty and the Beast” and “Atlantis” co-director Kirk Wise to direct the English language adaptation of Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi. Production on the English language version is tentatively scheduled to proceed through July with an as yet unannounced cast. Under these circumstances the film could possibly be released to American theaters as early as this August.
