Sony Acquires International Distribution Rights to Sky Crawlers

Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group has acquired the distribution rights to director Mamoru Oshii’s latest anime film “The Sky Crawlers” for the U.S., Canada, Latin America, Australia and New Zealand.

Although the film fared poorly in Japanese theatrical release, it did win the Future Film Festival Digital Award at the 2008 Venice Film Festival.
