Sket Dance Anime Announced

Next week’s issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine will formally announce the development of a TV anime adaptation of Kenta Shinohara’s popular comedy manga serial Sket Dance. The manga stars two boys and a girl who form their high school’s maligned “campus support group” that solves student body problems. The manga premiered in 2007 and won the 55th annual Shogakukan Manga Award for best shounen manga in 2009. The TV anime will premiere next spring.
