Shenmue Movie Coming to America

Microsoft has announced that the upcoming American Shenmue 2 port for the Xbox will be packaged with a DVD copy of Shenmue the Movie. Released to Japanese theaters, Shenmue the Movie is a condensed version of the first Shenmue RPG with the interactive game aspects edited out, leaving only a movie rendered in Dreamcast game graphics. The movie will allow players introduced to Shenmue with the second chapter to learn what happened in the first game.
