Seven Seas Reveals New Acquisitions

Seven Seas has announced its acquisition of translation & distribution rights to Isao Miura & Kotaro Yamada’s Seiken no Blacksmith manga series. The manga is based on Miura’s original 2007 fantasy light novel series that was adapted into an anime TV series in 2009. The manga series launched in 2009. Each domestic volume will retail at $12.99.

Seven Seas has acquired Nana Mochizuki’s manga adaptation of Noboru Yamaguchi’s Zero no Tsukaima (Familiar of Zero) light novel series. The seven volume manga from 2006-2009 will be released domestically in three omnibus editions retailing at $19.99 each.

Seven Seas has also acquired Rin Yamaki’s manga adaptation of Katsumi Nishino’s Kanokon light novel series. The nine-volume 2006-2009 manga based on Nishino’s 2005-2010 novel series will be released domestically in in four omnibus volumes retailing at $18.99 each.
