Sentai Reveals Numerous New Acquisitions

Sentai Filmworks has formally announced its plans for domestic digital & home video releases of the current Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge, Yuyushiki, Hyakka Ryoran Samurai Bride, Uta no Prince-sama ~ Maji Love 2000%, and Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru television series. “Crime Edge” will be released domestically under the title “The Severing Crime Edge” while Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru will be released under the domestic title “My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU.” All five shows are currently streaming on Crunchyroll. Sentai will stream all five titles later this year and tentatively release each show on domestic home video this year.

Sentai Filmworks has also acquired director Makoto Shinkai’s latest short film Kotonoha no Niwa (The Garden of Words) for digital and bilingual DVD & Blu-ray release later this year. The romance film will premiere in Japanese theaters on May 31 and hit Japanese Blu-ray, with optional English subtitles, on July 21.
