Sentai Acquires Koisento & Norageki
Sentai Filmworks has acquired the domestic rights to Sunrise’s cel-shaded CG sci-fi short films Koisento & Norageki. Koisento, a romantic adventure set in Nara, Japan in the year 2710, will be titled “Coicent” for its domestic release. The suspense thriller Norageki will be released domestically under the title “Five Numbers.” The films will be released online separately and toegether on a single bilingual DVD or BD.
This is a nice acquisition because despite Norageki being a disapointment, Koisento was a wonderful and very unrecognized treat.

So they changed the harem motif in Koisento from women to deer? =p I also like how Sentai’s also marketing it off Noiseman in their press release, when even people who watch fansubs haven’t heard of it. Which makes me wonder why not bring *that* over, while they’re at it?
The deer play a big role in Koisento, but they’re a very small part of the action. The deer only appear briefly in the movie.
