Sentai Acquires Acchi Kocchi & Sasami-san@Ganbaranai

Sentai Filmworks has announced its domestic acquisition of distribution rights to last year’s Acchi Kocchi slice-of-life romantic comedy and this season’s new Sasami-san@Ganbaranai romantic comedy anime television series. The 13-episode Acchi Kocchi series will be released domestically on subtitled DVD later this year under the translated title “Place to Place.” The 12-episode Sasami-san@Ganbaranai series premieres on Japanese television today and will stream on The Anime Network beginning on the 18th. Sentai will release the series on domestic home video later this year.

Since I’ve already stated that Acchi Kocchi was my favorite 2012 anime, I’d thrilled to see it get licensed for US release.
