Sega Sammy Buys TMS

Japanese anime production studio TMS (Tokyo Movie Shinsha) has issued a press release announcing its acquisition by Sega Sammy Holdings. As of October 7th, Sega Sammy has purchased a 50.24% share of TMS stock. Sega Sammy reportedly wish to use TMS as a subsidiary to create “synergy… between the game and animation businesses.”
