Second SRW TV Series Revealed

The latest issue of Dengeki Hobby Magazine has formally revealed the development of “Super Robot Taisen OG: The Inspector,” the first Super Robot Wars anime since the 2006 Super Robot Taisen OG: Divine Wars television series. As widely suspected, Masami Obari (Gravion, Dancougar) is directing. Unlike the 2006 series that was animated by OLM, this fall’s second television series is being animated by Production Reed (formerly known as “Ashi Productions”), the studio behind Maso Kishin Cybuster, the first anime adaptation of the Super Robot Taisen video game franchise, and robot anime including Dancougar, Goshogun, Dorvack, and Ginguiser.
