Sapporo Beverages’ Ribbon-chan Anime Announced

Japanese soft drink company Sapporo Beverage has announced that its mascot character Ribbon-chan and her dog Citron will star in a series of anime shorts that will air weekly as part of the Nori Suta Max variety program, beginning April 4. Sapporo Beverage first introduced Ribbon-chan in 1957. The company is also now developing ten new animated TV commercials that will feature Ribbon-chan & Citron.
