Samurai Movie from Gladiator Scribe

Variety Magazine reports that director Edward Zwick (The Siege) has signed on to produce a samurai movie based on a script by Gladiator writer John Logan. “John and I have wanted to work together for a long time,” Zwick explained. “I read an early draft of his script RKO 281, and I was just knocked out by it. We began a correspondence, and now we’re really excited about finding a project we can work on together.”
