Rumors of KoF’s Demise

There is a rumor that key members SNK’s King of Fighters development team have left the company to form a game studio of their own. The rumor has it that a major game developer will fund this new company. King of Fighters 2000 would be their last work for the famous 2D fighter series. SNK has recently released a King of Fighters 2000 collage of character art from the KoF 2000 character illustration contest. King of Fighters 2000 should be released July 20th on the Naomi arcade board.
