Remastered Transformers Movie Special Edition Coming Soon

Sony BMG Home Entertainment’s remastered Transformers Movie 20th Anniversary Special Edition DVD release is scheduled for release on November 7th. Official video footage for the upcoming DVD is now available on YouTube:

The completely remastered and color-corrected special edition DVD will include the movie in full screen and 16×9 widescreen, and in a “Autobot Matrix of Knowledge” version that includes running trivia about the movie. The DVD will also contain a behind-the-scenes sneak peek at next summer’s live action Transformers movie; three all-new exclusive featurettes & audio commentary tracks with director Nelson Shin, story consultant Flint Dille, producers Tom Griffin and Joe Bacal, and Sue Blu, the voice of female Transformer Arcee; the rare 20 minute “Scramble City” Japanese Transformers pilot; trailers and deleted scenes; original commercials for the toy line and movie; DVD-ROM features; and a limited-edition lenticular DVD cover.
