Real Bout High School Coming to TV

Popular manga Shokan Kyoshi: Real Bout High School, based on the long running manga from Dragon Magazine, will premier as a Japanese television series on July 30th, courtesy of Gonzo Studios. Character designs will be provided by Keiji Goto, who created the animation character designs for Gate Keepers, Nadesico and Hyper Police.

The story revolves around a female high school kendo champion named Reiko Mitsuguri who is suddenly thrust into using her skills to protect the world from monsters.
