Publishers Weekly Profiles Seirei no Moribito

In addition to announcing that the “Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit” (Seirei no Moribito) anime television series will premier on the American Cartoon Network on August 24th. Publishers Weekly now hosts an extended profile of author Nahoko Uehashi’s original fantasy story including both American and Japanese reactions to the series and a theories behind the series’ popularity.

Perhaps this exceptional 2006 anime production will now finally receive the attention and acclaim that it deserves from the American fan community.
