Psychic Force Announced for DVD

Image Entertainment has announced that they will release the Psychic Force OAV series on DVD in America on March 19th. Based on the Taito 3D arcade fighting game Psychic Force 2010 and released as two 30 minute OAVs in early 1998, the Psychic Force anime tells a heavily X-Men influenced story about mutant psychics being captured and persecuted in the not too distant future, and a single rogue psychic proclaiming himself superior to man and seeking to become all powerful, opposed only by his psychic childhood friend. The American DVD will include Japanese Dolby 5.1 audio, trailers, interviews, an isolated music and effects audio track and more for $24.95. A subtitled VHS version will be available for $19.98.
