Problems with Bubblegum Crisis Megaset

Although the new Bubblegum Crisis DVD Mega Set was created with the intention of correcting the slight flaws of the original 3 disc DVD set, the new Mega Set is apparently plagued with flaws of its own. OAVs 1, 3 & 6 exhibit no problems, but OAVs 4, 5 & 8 have noticeable timing discrepancies on the subtitles. OAVs 7 & 8 exhibit a faint beeping sound on the Japanese language track. Episode 2 has some subtitle timing errors and missing subtitles, and on all of the episodes, the subtitles blink when there are two sets of subtitles on screen at the same time (from either multiple characters speaking at the same time, or simultaneous dialogue and song lyric translations). Neither AnimEigo nor M2K has made any statements about the problems yet.
