Playstation 2 Peripherals Announced

Third party developer Sun Electronics will release the first Playstation 2 broadband internet adaptor on March 29th, for a retail price of 10,000 yen.

Sony has announced that they will release the 40 Gigabyte Playstation 2 hard drive in July. The hard drive, in conjunction with an internet connection, will allow Japanese Playstation 2 users to download expansions to games, and store digital data downloaded from the internet or from external sources such as digital cameras the same way a PC hard drive would.
