Persona 4 BDs to be Dub Only

Seemingly mirroring Bandai Entertainment’s domestic release of the Kurokami TV series, Sentai Filmworks has announced that its North American home video release of the Persona 4: The Animation series will consist of a bilingual DVD release and an English dubbed-only Blu-ray release. Due to licensor insistence, the American DVD release will include original Japanese dialogue, English dubbing, and Japanese audio commentary. The simultaneous Blu-ray release will be English dubbed only. Sentai has lowered the retail price of the first Blu-ray volume from $69.98 to $59.98 in response to the omitted audio tracks. The first home video volume will be released on September 18.
