Penguin Books to Publish Translated Manga

ICv2 News reports that major mainstream American publisher Penguin Books has signed a 3 year deal with Digital Manga, Inc. to distribute English translated manga. Digital Manga will acquire and translate 8-10 volumes of manga next year, which Penguin Books will print and distribute. Similar to the strategy employed by Del Rey, Penguin appears to be employing a quality-over-quantity approach to domestic manga distribution.
