Opening A Day
To refresh your memory or introduce you to an interesting opening animation sequence, I submit the 1996 Martian Successor Nadesico TV series. The opening theme is “You Get to Burning,” sung by Yumi Matsuzawa.

I never saw more than only a handful of episodes of this series, but was always interested. Gotta love 90’s mecha action.
“Going your days grow up” has got to be one of the best Engrish lines ever, up there with “I believe in drastic my sooooooul”. I wish this excellent show had a proper sequel instead of that lackluster, inconclusive movie.
