Ojarumaru Creator Dead

Rin Inumaru, the 48-year-old creator of Ojarumaru, apparently jumped from the roof of her 14-story apartment complex in Tokyo on September 10th, leaving behind a note stating, “I’m not good at my job.” Television network NHK expressed surprise over the unexpected suicide. The Ojarumaru anime, which premiered in 1998, is now broadcasting its 9th series. The show is also broadcast in Spain and Italy.
