Nyaruko-san Site Updates

The homepage for next month’s Haiyore! Nyaruko-san television series from studio XEBEC has updated with a key visual image and a selection of screenshots. I know that a lot of folks were put off by the simplistic Flash animation of the previous Nyaruani and have been looking forward to this new traditionally animated production, but this advance look rather disappoints me because it looks so conventional and indistinguishable from countless other school/harem anime. After all, the final episode Honto ni Atta! Reibai-sensei switched from Flash animation to traditional animation and had more character and personality in Flash. Hopefully this new Nyaruani will dispell my anxiety when it premieres on Japanese TV on April 9 and simulcasts internationally on Crunchyroll.
