No Theatrical Wide Release for Evangelion

Manga Entertainment has informed Anime News Network that tentative plans for a major American theatrical release for the Evangelion movies have been canceled but convention screenings and possibly a few art theater runs have not been ruled out yet. Manga currently plans to release Death & Rebirth and End of Evangelion on VHS and DVD sometime this summer.
