No Japanese Audio on American Bloodlust DVD

According to an administrator post to the official Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust Forum, the North American DVD version of Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust will not include a Japanese language audio track.

The new Vampire Hunter D film, known in North America as Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, was originally created and released to Japanese theaters with English language dialogue. After the film’s Japanese premier, a Japanese language audio track was created for the film. There has been some debate over whether or not a single audio track can present an accurate presentation of the film’s story as the Japanese language version and English language version have been verified to have distinct differences that surpass mere variations in translation. The film is currently available for rental in Japan in English language and Japanese language VHS versions.
