NISA Aquires Usagi Drop

NIS America has announced its acquisition of domestic distribution rights to last year’s 11-episode anime drama Usagi Drop. Production I.G’s adaptation of Yumi Unita’s manga depicts a single 30 year-old man who adopts an unwanted 6 year-old girl. NISA will release all 11 broadcast episodes and the series’ four home-video shorts in a complete subtitled Blu-ray & DVD set on August 7.
