NISA Acquires Hanasaku Iroha

NIS America has formally announced plans for a domestic disc release of the 2011 slice-of-life drama Hanasaku Iroha. The first half of the 26-episode show will be released in a limited edition subtitled DVD/BD combo with 36-page hardcover illustration book on April 9. The set will retail at $69.99. The original anime developed and animated by studio P.A. Works revolves around an urban teenage girl who must adjust to a different lifestyle when she becomes a live-in employee at her grandmother’s rural hot-spring resort hotel.
