Nintendo to Buy Sega?

The New York Times has published an article claiming that Nintendo is in negotiations to buy Sega Enterprises for around $2 billion. Sega posted a loss of over $357 million last year, and is expected to publicly announce its fourth consecutive year in the red when the company’s current fiscal year ends in March. Public responses to the New York Times statements from both Nintendo and Sega representatives, though, universally agree that the rumored buy-out is absolutely untrue.
