Next Studio Ghibli R2 DVDs Scheduled

Neko no Ongaeshi (The Cat Returns) with its bonus feature The Ghiblies Episode 2 will be released to Japanese DVD on July 4th. The Cat Returns will have its American theatrical premier at the First Annual LA Anime Festival tomorrow night. Director Hiroyuki Morita and producer Nozomu Takahashi will be present at the screening.

Umi ga Kikoeru (I Can Hear the Ocean), the 1993 Studio Ghibli television movie directed by Tomomi Mochizuki, will see DVD release in Japan on August 8th.
