Newsweek Dishes on The Matrix

Newsweek Magazine has published an interesting cover feature article on The Matrix Reloaded. Be warned that the article includes extensive mild spoilers including a rather spoiler heavy analysis of the climax of the second Matrix film, included at the top of the article. The article also mentions that the Animatrix DVD, featuring 9 animated Matrix shorts including several Japanese produced segments, will be released in June 2003.

In a related note from the Matrix Official Site reported by Jagged Team, the first Animatrix segment, “The 2nd Renaissance,” directed by Blue Submarine No. 6 director Mahiro Maeda, will debut online complete and uncut in February. Further Animatrix shorts will be released monthly, although some of the 9 shorts will remain exclusive to the DVD.
