New Versus Trailers Online

To promote the upcoming French theatrical release of Versus (2000), CineMovies has posted two new trailers for the stunning Japanese action/horror film. For a live action film, Versus honestly contains more raw power, visual kineticism and hyper-kinetic, mind-blowingly violent action than most anime action films. New Line Cinema has expressed interest in bringing director Ryuhei Kitamura to America, but there have yet to be any confirmed reports of an American distribution license for Versus.

The first QuickTime clip is the French theatrical trailer. The second QuickTime clip is excerpts from two sequences from the film. Please be aware that both video clips contain brief scenes of intense graphic violence and gore.
