New Toward the Terra Anime Announced

Aniplex will produce a new anime television series adaptation of Keiko Takemiya’s award winning 1979 manga Terra E… (“Toward the Terra”). The story was first adapted as an anime motion picture in 1980. The new anime, scheduled to premier this April, will be directed by Osamu Yamazaki (Yotoden, Gestalt) with character design by Nobuteru Yuki and mecha design by Yutaka Izubuchi.
