New Spriggan Manga

Next month, Japanese publisher Shogakukan (Viz’s Japanese parent company) will launch a new monthly comic magazine called “Monthly Sunday GX (Gen X).” The premier issue will include a new 52 page “Spriggan” (Striker in English) one-shot story, a new comic by Toshihiro Ono of Pokemon fame, and a new series by Hisao Tamaki, Eisner Award winner for his Star Wars manga adaptation. The Spriggan one-shot will be the story of Yu Ominae’s first mission as a Spriggan. An all Japanese web site for the magazine is now online.
