New PS2 Announced

According to The Magic Box, Sony has officially dropped the price of the current Playstation 2 model by $20, to $179 in order to clear out the remaining current model systems. Beginning next month Sony will distribute a new model PS2 that comes with the network adapter. The new PS2 will also offer progressive scan DVD playback and compatibility with DVD+RW & DVD-RW discs.
