New Makoto Shinkai Animation Announced

Bishoujo game production studio Alchemist has announced that respected animator Makoto Shinkai (Voices Of A Distant Star, Place Promised In Our Early Days) will animate original opening and ending sequences for the Japanese PS2 port of its romantic simulation computer game Haruno Ashioto -Step Of Spring-. The game is scheduled for Japanese release next year. Shinkai has previously animated openings for the Wind ~A Breath of Heart~ and Bittersweet Fools bishoujo computer games.
