New Licenses Revealed

According to Anime Expo’s list of industry representatives scheduled to attend the convention, TBS animation producers Gensho Tetsuo and Zinguzi Takeshi have confirmed that Pioneer has licensed Gainax Studios 12 episode Automatic Maiden Mahoromatic TV series and Koge Donbo’s 24 episode Little Snow Fairy Sugar TV series for American release.

Bandai has issued a press release, reprinted by Anime News Service, that confirms their license of the giant robot/horror drama Argento Soma and the supernatural sci-fi drama Infinite Ryvius, both TV created by the same production staff at Sunrise. The press release also re-confirms Bandai America’s distribution license for .hack//SIGN and Gonzo Studio’s OAV adaptation of the Melty Lancer video game series.
