New HK Movie News

Rush Hour 2 has received the subtitle, “The Return of the Dragon,” and will begin filming in Hong Kong on November 9th. Because half of the film will be shot in Hong Kong, it will feature numerous Hong Kong action stars.

Director Johnny To’s next project is “Chung Mo Yim”, a comedy which tells an ancient Chinese tale about a king torn between two lovable concubines, the ugly and clever Chung Mo Yim, and the beautiful and street-wise Ha Ying Chun. The king will be replayed by Anita Mui, who played Jackie Chan’s very impressive stepmother in Drunken Master 2 and worked for Johnny To in Heroic Trio and The Executioners. Anita jokes that now she finally has the opportunity to do some lesbian scenes.
